The Mozart Effect suggests that listening to Mozart's music can have positive neurological benefits. Building upon this concept, our research investigates whether classical music can influence the EEG patterns of children with epilepsy. Through our web application, EpiMuse, we aim to provide personalized music therapy for epilepsy patients, leveraging machine learning to tailor interventions.
Collaborating with Neuropedia Dubai, we've examined the effects of classical music on the EEGs of pediatric epilepsy patients. Our findings contribute to understanding how music therapy can be integrated into clinical settings to support traditional treatments.
As someone who has personally navigated the challenges of epilepsy, I find it profoundly rewarding to contribute to initiatives that positively impact the lives of those living with the condition. Looking ahead, we are excited about the potential advancements in this field.
A special thank you to my mentor, Dr. Aman PS Sohal, for his unwavering support and guidance throughout this project. His expertise has been instrumental in our progress.
